About

Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Service

The Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Service (RSASS) provides free, confidential support and information to female survivors of sexual violence.

Previously known as Rape Crisis (Wycombe, Chiltern & South Bucks), we support women in South Buckinghamshire and Slough aged 16 years and over, regardless of their race, cultural background, sexual orientation or disability.

We support women who have been raped or sexually assaulted by a stranger or someone known to them, for example, a partner, spouse or family member.  We also help women who have experienced domestic abuse, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), honour-based violence, forced marriage, harassment or stalking.

We are here for you. We believe you and we do not judge.

Our approach is women-centred, and we provide a safe environment in which to heal. Whilst men do suffer abuse, sexual violence offences in the UK are overwhelmingly against women.

We can help with online or face to face counselling, telephone support, help to attend health or housing appointments, befriending, self-help groups, and advocacy support through the criminal justice process.

Please leave a message for us on our Helpline: 01494 462 222.

Donate now to help us support survivors of sexual violence

We are the only organisation in the area to provide specialist services to survivors of rape and sexual abuse, but we rely on donations and charitable grants.

"I've been very fortunate to work as a volunteer RSASS counsellor for 4 years. I find the work fascinating, challenging and rewarding while getting the chance to meet inspirational women, both as service users and providers. There is a strong team dedicated to supporting women survivors of sexual violence and I feel lucky to be a part of it. I hope to continue working for the charity where women can access free, specialised help to enable them to find a way to live the lives they want after experiencing such trauma.".
